What is a 3D Dental Scan?
Watch this video to learn more about 3D dental imaging and how we use it to create a detailed treatment plan customized to your specifications.
You may be curious as to why you might need a 3D scan instead of a regular traditional X ray. And there’s a good reason why I feel every office should have this. As you can see here, in this one shot, we can determine where to precisely place these implants. If we want to check on root canals, know exactly where to go, how those roots are shaped. Before we do, that root canal, we can use that.
And of course, an obvious one is wisdom teeth. Here we have an impacted wisdom tooth very close to the nerve. We know exactly where that is, so there’s less risk of nerve damage when that is taken out, if it has to be taken out. So if this technology sounds good to you, please give us a call.
